About Me

I’ve been fashionated with the media and the television in particular ever scince I was 12 years old, when my parents sign me up in a casting for a TV show - the bulgarian version of “Are you smarter than a 5th grader?”, where 10 children from 5th and 6th grade are slected to take part in 1 season of the show as a class of “helpers”to the main contestense. I was selected in the “class” among more 10,000 other children all over the country that took part in the casting. That moment was one of the most increadeble things that happend in my life. Being on the screen of the most watched TV channel in the country in the primetime was not an easy job, knowing that so many people are watching you every day, that so many people know you - that made me feel really special, it made me really show my best. After the show was over, I become more confident and more open person, and when it was time to think for the university I had no doubts at all - I wanted to study media and commuinications.
  I was studying previously in the National High school for Acient languages and cultures, where I specialise in history and culture studies. During my education I’ve done some reaserch and project work in ancient and middle-age history. In my last year I am finishing my english education and I am alsoe studying 3 ancient languages as part of my school shedule - latin, ancient greek and ancient bulgarian. In 12 grade I finished my class with a diploma work on middle-age bulgarian history. Over the years I have written some articles for the school news paper “Diagnosis Classicus” and some television articles and media analysis for the internet site bgtvnews.com. Over my high school education I’ve participated in sevral practical courses in history in Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece and Italy.
  Every year I was taking part in the national olympiades in history and English, where I reach to the second and third rounds. In my spare time I go swimming in the National Olympic Centre, and two years ago I used to be part of the Satiric Theatre youth troop. After I graduate from the university I would like to work in the media, television or production sphere. I am a person who wants to develop forward, who enjoys learning new skills and abilities every day, who is very motivated and puts everything anytime in his work.
